The vivo Y27 5G has been quietly made available on the brand’s official online stores, over a month after it was initially unveiled and spotted on SIRIM. This comes after the 4G version was launched here without its 5G counterpart, with the latter being sold for an additional RM200.
Firstly, the Y27 5G sports a 6.64-inch 1080p LCD display with a peak brightness of 600 nits and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset with a single configuration of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with no expansion slot. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the photography side, it features a 50MP main camera on the back alongside a depth sensor while the front contains an 8MP selfie shooter. The 5G phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Other than 5G, its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Available on the company’s Shopee and Lazada stores, the Y27 5G retails for RM899. For those who purchase the phone between 25 August to 11 September 2023, you will get a RM10 Touch ‘n Go reload pin while stocks last.
