The Tecno Pova 5 will be making its way here next week, shortly after its debut. As expected, only the base model will go on sale for now while the Pova 5 Pro and Pove Neo 3 are set to be launched later on.
For starters, the Tecno Pova 5 sports a flat 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, as well as a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of memory expansion and the ability to add virtual RAM up to 8GB using unused storage.
On the photography side, it has a 50MP primary camera alongside a depth sensor on the back while the front carries an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging and 10W reverse charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G LTE, NFC, and unspecified versions of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Tecno Pova 5 will be available for RM699 on 10 July 2023. It is available for pre-order now on the brand’s Shopee store and while stocks last, customers can get a free gift box containing a pair of earbuds, charging cables, and a portable speaker.
