The Tecno Pova 5 has officially been unveiled as the first of the Pova 5 series, which will also include the Pova 5 Pro and Pova Neo 3 in the future. Featuring a futuristic “Turbo Mecha” design, the vanilla Pova 5 seems to be an affordable product packed with a massive battery.
First off, it sports a 6.78-inch 1080p flat LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz with flat sides and DTS Sound-supported stereo speakers. Internally, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 8GB of RAM and an undisclosed internal storage configuration.
Powering the Tecno Pova 5 is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging as well as 10W reverse wired charging to power up your other devices. On the photography side, it is equipped with a 50MP main camera on the back alongside a depth sensor as well as an 8MP selfie shooter up front.
While the pricing and availability have not been revealed yet, the brand has already confirmed on its Facebook page that the Tecno Pova 5 will be coming to Malaysia soon, although it did not provide a specific launch date. Similarly, it is unknown when exactly the company will be debuting the Pova 5 Pro and Pova Neo 3.
