You know the brand Acer as the maker of laptops, but did you know that the company has a subsidiary called AcerPure? This subbrand deals mainly with things like water and air purifiers. And today, the company has announced the availability of the AcerPure Aqua WP1 pipeless water purifier, as well as the AcerPure Pro P2 Classic air purifier, as part of the subbrand’s first product launch in the country.
Starting with the AcerPure Aqua WP1 water purifier, it is described as pipeless as in you don’t have to deal with piping installations just for it. Instead, it comes with an 8.7l detachable tank, the water from which will be drawn into the purifier for the filtration process to happen. Said process involves a three-step filtration system. The three filters are PCF, RO and GAC filters, which are easily replaceable, with a real-time Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) water quality monitor.
Beyond just filtering, you can dispense the filtered water at a number of preset temperatures – cold, ambient, and three levels of hot. You also get to manually set specific temperatures between 40 and 95 degrees Celsius. All these features are accessed via a touch panel.
In addition to the water purifier, AcerPure also unveiled the Pro P2 Classic air purifier. This comes with a 3-in-1 HEPA filter, which the company says is able to eliminate 99% formaldehyde and 99.9% of PM2.5 particles. The filter itself is also easily replaceable. Like the water purifier, this air purifier also operates with a touch panel, but here there are only two things to do – turning it on or off, and switching modes. The choices are Smart mode, which increases its intensity depending on the air quality, and Quiet mode, for when you want the motor speed to be as low as possible, mostly to be used when bed time approaches.
The AcerPure Aqua WP1 water purifier water purifier is priced at RM3599, while the AcerPure Pro P2 Classic comes with a price tag of RM899. That being said, both come with a number of freebies if you buy them early. The former has its promotional period from today until 14 August, while the latter has a significantly shorter promo period, which only lasts until 21 June.
