The Huawei nova 11 series was unveiled last month with three devices along with an additional lower-budget offering that was added earlier this month. Thanks to tipster Kevin Ng TK, it seems that at least two smartphones from the lineup will be making their way here, possibly soon.

We can confirm that the Huawei nova 11 and nova 11i received their SIRIM certification just last week, with the model numbers FOA-LX9 and MAO-LX9 respectively. This listing means that we can expect a local launch of these devices quite soon, although the company has not made any official announcements yet regarding this.

It’s unfortunate that the nova 11 Pro and Ultra have not been listed yet but until the official launch, there is always the possibility of Huawei surprising us. More recently, the brand brought over two of its flagship devices to the local market, the P60 Pro and the Mate X3 foldable.

The Huawei nova 11 sports a 6.7-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is limited to 4G LTE cellular support, and is paired with up to 512GB of internal storage and an unspecified amount of RAM.

On the back, it features a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a colour temperature sensor, while the front houses a massive 60MP selfie shooter. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging as well as reverse wired charging so it can act as a powerbank.

As for the entry-level Huawei nova 11i, it has a 6.8-inch 1080p LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It runs on a Snapdragon 680 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

For the cameras, the rear setup is equipped with a 48MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor while the front contains a 16MP selfie snapper. While it’s the lowest-end of the series, it contains the biggest battery capacity at 5,000mAh with 40W charging.
