If you happen to be looking for a phone that’s even more affordable than OPPO’s A17 entry-level that was launched in the local market last month, then you might want to consider its latest addition. Introduced as a variant of the aforementioned model, the newer OPPO A17k packs the same chipset, battery capacity, display size and IPX4 water resistance, but strips down on its camera and RAM capacity to enable for an even affordable (albeit slightly) price tag.

Like its sibling, the A17k packs a notched 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 pixel resolution, up to 600 nits brightness, and features Panda Glass protection. On the right hand side is a fingerprint scanner, while situated on the bottom is a speaker grille and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.

It also has an onboard RAM expansion feature that allows you to convert up to 4 GB of storage into an equivalent amount of RAM, should you need an extra boost in performance.
