ASRock, the Taiwan-based company known for manufacturing PC components, may debut its first ever gaming monitors soon. This is based on a recent scoop by leakster momomo_us via Twitter, which suggests that the company will introduce two displays, with the second model to be offered in a total of three variants.

Suggested to bear the designations of PG34WQ15R and PG27FF, it is speculated that the “PG” prefix may be referring to the company’s Phantom Gaming product line, which the new monitors may be marketed under. The leakster says the ASRock displays (and variants) are also catalogued on AMD’s list of FreeSync supported devices, as well as on the South Korea’s media regulation agency KCC. The monitors are manufactured by TPV Electronics, momomo_us added.

The first model, the PG34WQ15R is said to sport a 34-inch curved VA panel, which comes with 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution and supports AMD FreeSync Premium. In addition, it also comes with a refresh rate range o f 48 to 165 Hz via DisplayPort and 48 to 100 Hz through HDMI.

According to the KCC listing, the three PG27FF variants consist of a flat 42-inch model with 4K resolution, 32-inch with 2K resolution, and a 27-inch with 1080p resolution. All three versions are suggested to feature IPS panels and a refresh rate range of 48 to 165 Hz via DisplayPort and HDMI.

Another feature that is said to be available across all four ASRock monitors is low framerate compensation (LFC) support. With this, they are able to display smooth frames per second (fps) even when the content shown on-screen dips below the minimum refresh rate of 48 Hz. It is unclear whether this ability is enabled by default or can be switched off at any time.

The leakster did not reveal when ASRock is expected to launch the PG34WQ15R and all variants of the PG27FF. Unfortunately, no word on the pricing for all four alleged gaming monitors either.
