Illegear Onyx and Selenite Laptops Now Available With 12th Gen Intel Core Processors

First launched back in January, the 12th Gen Intel Core processors have since made their way to various laptops companies throughout the world including Malaysia’s own Illegear. The outfit which is based in Damansara has recently revealed the list of Illegear laptops that can be obtained with the new chips.

Essentially, the choice of processors that are available to customers depends on the respective models. For example, customers can choose to have Intel Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H for Onyx V and Selenite V while the Core i9-12900H is the only 12th Gen Core option available for the Onyx G, Onyx Pro, and Selenite Pro.

On the other hand, the Selenite X can be obtained with either Core i7-12700H or Core i9-1200H. Since we are looking at a variety of laptops here, we have consolidated their general specifications into the table below for easy reference:

In conjunction with the new chip option, Illegear is now offering a 1TB Samsung PM981A NVMe solid state drive as a free upgrade for Onyx G, Onyx Pro, Selenite X, and Selenite Pro. At the same time, the company also provides a free upgrade to 16GB RAM for the new Alder Lake-based Onyx V and Selenite V.
