realme 9 Pro+ 5G To Launch In Malaysia On 2 March

Less than a week after the realme 9 Pro 5G Series was launched in India, the company has revealed that the new phone series is heading to Malaysia as well. Leading the series debut in our market will be the realme 9 Pro+.

Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor, the 9 Pro+ is also equipped with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of 90Hz alongside a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The screen also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and is covered by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for extra durability.

The 9 Pro+ also has a colour-shifting back cover that can turn from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight although this feature which is known as the Light Shift Design, is only available for the Sunrise Blue colourway of the phone. Other colour options of the 9+ Pro includes Aurora Green and Midnight Black.

For photography, the 9 Pro+ relies on a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 6P lens as its main camera which is being accompanied by an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. On the top left part of the phone’s display, there is also a 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Completing the phone’s general specifications is a 4500mAh battery and users can regain 50% of its capacity in just 15 minutes by using the 60W SuperDart Charger that comes with the 9 Pro+. Naturally, you have to wait for the official Malaysian price to be announced by realme but if you need some indication, the price for 9 Pro+ in India starts as INR24,999 (~RM1,404).
