KTM Berhad is now offering a series of discounts for travellers who want to use its long-range train services to travel across Peninsular Malaysia. One such discount program is called Pakej Keluarga Malaysia which is meant for families with a minimum of four members.
Applicable for the ETS, Ekspres Rakyat Timuran, and Ekspres Selatan services, the 25% discount can be obtained for both adult and child tickets using the code KMKTMB22. However, the tickets must be purchased in one transaction and available only for Malaysian citizens.
Furthermore, the discount cannot be applied on top of concession discounts, including OKUs, student, retiree, and senior citizen tickets. That being said, there is no limit to how many times you can use the promo code during the promotion period which will last until 31 December 2022.
The Pakej Keluarga Malaysia discount can be used to purchase tickets from the KTMB website, the KTMB Mobile app, ticket counters, and ticket vending machines. KTMB already opened up ETS and KTM Intercity ticket sales for travels until June 2022 which means that seats for the upcoming Hari Raya season – taking place on 3 May for this year – are already up for grabs.
