HONOR has announced that the AMD version of its 2021 MagicBook 15 laptop is now available for pre-order for Malaysian customers. As its name suggests, the new portable computer comes with a 15-inch display and an AMD processor – among other things, of course.
Specifically, this year’s MagicBook 15 AMD sports a 15.6-inch Eye Comfort FullView Display with a screen-to-body ratio of 87%. Earning the Low Blue Light and Flicker-free certifications by TUV Rheinland, the company promises that its screen is designed to prevent eye fatigue and enable long hours of productivity or leisure use. Like others under the MagicBook line-up, the new laptop features a slim profile and lightweight design, coming in at 16.9mm and 1.54kg respectively.
Under its hood is an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor with AMD Radeon graphics acceleration, coupled with 8GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 256GB. Ensuring for long hours of use, the new MagicBook 15 AMD is equipped with a large 56Wh battery with a 65W USB-C fast charging capability, which HONOR claims is able to top-up 65% of its capacity in just one hour.
According to the company, the new laptop is expected to be available nationwide from 10 October 2021 at a retail price of RM2,699 – which is also the same price as the 14-inch variant, by the way . As mentioned earlier, those interested may pre-order the HONOR MagicBook 15 starting today on 5 October at a discounted price of RM2,499, exclusively via HONOR’s official store on Shopee Malaysia.
