Puma recently updated its Twitter account to tease a collaboration with Nintendo’s popular social simulation game Animal Crossing. While the brand itself did not share any further information regarding the matter, it didn’t take long until product images from the collab made its way online, thanks to website Sneaker Freaker.
Shown are a variety of images showcasing Puma’s Wild Rider sneakers that are decked out in Animal Crossing’s signature pastel colours. On each shoe are shoelace buckles; with the one on the left sporting a Puma logo, while the right features the Nintendo game’s leaf logo. One image suggests that the sneakers will also come with alternate pastel green shoelaces and a small cream coloured pouch.

Aside from thePuma Wild Rider, also revealed is an Animal Crossing-themed hoodie that comes in pastel blue. Filling up the back of the apparel is a grid of various characters from the video game, with a white puma branding situated in the middle.
Sneaker Freaker did not mention the pricing or availability of these products, but noted that there will be more Puma x Animal Crossing footwear and clothing to be unveiled soon. Unfortunately, it is not known when the sports apparel brand is expected to officially launch the complete product line-up from the collaboration.
