Following its recent teaser, POCO today has officially unveiled its latest device, the new POCO X3 GT just moments ago. Not only that, the company has also announced that the new phone will be heading into Malaysia this August.

True to what we have heard before, the X3 GT is essentially the global variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro that Xiaomi has released in China two months ago. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, the phone which is the first 5G model under the brand’s X series family, also carries a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

On its back, the X3 GT carries a triple camera module which consists of a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro camera. The phone also houses a punch-hole 16MP selfie camera right on the top centre part of its screen.

Alongside a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for Dolby Atmos contents, completing the phone’s general specifications is a massive 5000mAh battery. Despite that, POCO claimed that the phone can be fully charged in just 42 minutes with the help of its 67W Turbo Charging feature and fret not, the 67W charger comes as standard with the phone.

In Malaysia, the X3 GT comes standard with 8GB of RAM and customers can obtain it with either 128GB storage which costs RM1,299 or the 256GB model that is priced at RM1,599. As part of its launch promo, the X3 GT will be made available for a lower price though at RM1,199 and RM 1,399, respectively through POCO’s official store on Lazada from 3 to 4 August while stocks last.
