Late last month, HP has unveiled a brand-new model called Pavilion Aero 13 which the company claimed as the lightest consumer-grade laptop that it has produced so far. Weighing at just 987g, the new laptop which comes with magnesium aluminium chassis and a sleek 16.9mm side profile is also an AMD-exclusive model.
As it turns out, the new laptop has quietly made its way to Malaysia and is now readily available through HP Malaysia’s online store as well as the brand’s official store in Lazada and Shopee. At the moment, only one set of specs are being offered through these stores though.
Equipped with a 13.3-inch IPS panel with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) alongside a maximum brightness level of 400nits and 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage, the Malaysian variant currently comes with AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor and 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM. It also features a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid state drive, dual speakers tuned by B&O, dual array digital microphones, and HP Wide Vision 720p HD camera.
Completing its general specifications is a 43Whr 3-cell battery that apparently able to provide up to 10 hours of battery life. Pricewise, consumers are able to get their hands on the new HP Pavilion Aero 13 at RM 3,399 which is slightly lower than its standard price tag of RM 3,599.
