Even though HONOR’s operation in Malaysia is still in the midst of transition after the brand was sold off by Huawei late last year, that doesn’t stop the brand from releasing new products in our market. Among the latest example is the new HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite which is now available for pre-order in Malaysia.
Despite the “Lite” in its name, HONOR still provides the earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) capability. On another hand, there is also the Awareness Mode which allows users to hear ambient sound from their surroundings just by pressing and holding one of the earbuds.
Each earbud is also equipped with a 10mm sound driver and two microphones while HONOR also claims that they have a battery life of up to 10 hours for music playback or 7.5 hours once the ANC is enabled. Taking their charging case into account, the total battery life for these earbuds can be extended further up to 32 hours.
Not only that, users can also take advantage of their fast charge feature which provides up to 4 hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging time. As per most true wireless earbuds out there, the new release from HONOR Malaysia also comes with wear detection which would automatically pause music playback once users take off the earbuds.
Pricewise, the new HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite would cost RM 299 but in conjunction with their launch in Malaysia, they can be pre-ordered for RM 269 until 15 July through HONOR’s official store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as Senheng and HONOR Authorized Stores across Malaysia. All pre-order customers will also be provided with a free 3-month VIP subscription for JOOX.
