The OnePlus 9 series finally got their official announcement in Malaysia, two months after its initial reveal. The two phones in the series also had their price leaked earlier. And as it turns out the two prices were spot on.
The price leak from yesterday indicated that the price of the OnePlus 9 is RM3699, while the Pro variant had a RM4299 price tag. These are both accurate, as the company has confirmed this as part of the official announcement. Though for the Pro device, it is also the only available price tag. The company is only bringing one variant to our shores, and it’s the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Both devices will be available via e-commerce channels tomorrow, 18 May. For the base OnePlus 9, this will be via the brand’s official store on Shopee. You’ll also get a OnePlus Buds Z thrown in for free as part of its First Sale bonus. This will also be free for offline purchases starting 22 May, while stocks last.
As for the Pro model, it will be via Lazada instead. This has a similar kind of promo, called the Fans Special Gift Bundle. It instead comes with a OnePlus Buds, Warp Charge 65 wired power adapter, Warp Charge 50 wireless charger, and a Karbon Bumper case for the OnePlus 9 Pro.
