With MCO 3.0 in effect, the AirAsia app is offering unlimited free delivery to all customers. AirAsia also announced that it was slashing the commission rates for food and beverage merchants on airasia food by 5%, from 15% to 10%, for two weeks during the MCO.
The company said that the unlimited free delivery is applicable to all of its app’s e-commerce services, namely airasia food, airasia fresh, airasia shop, and airasia beauty, until further notice.
“We foresee the challenges that come with [the MCO] based on past experience, and we want to help restaurant owners and food merchants to ease their burden as much as possible by reducing the commission rates,” said the AirAsia app’s Head of e-Commerce Lim Ben-Jie.

He added, “We hope the small gesture will help the merchants to operate at a lower cost and sustain their businesses during this challenging period where heavy restrictions are in place.”
As of now, the unlimited free delivery is applicable within the Klang Valley, and will be extended to Penang (airasia food) on 15 May 2021. To start ordering or shopping, you can visit the AirAsia app or its website.
