Acer Malaysia has unveiled new hardware options for the 2021 Nitro 5 gaming laptop that the company has launched in our market last month. Starting from today onwards, gamers can choose to have the laptop with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics.
The launch of the new hardware options also means that the starting price of Nitro 5 is now much lower at RM 3,699. The new base now model features Ryzen 5 5600H and GeForce GTX 1650 graphics while it still has a 144Hz Full HD IPS panel for its 15.6-inch display, 8GB of RAM, 512GB solid state drive.
On the other end of the spectrum, there is also the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X option which is being accompanied by a GeForce RTX 3080 that has a 100W TDP rating. Priced at RM 8,999, It also comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SSD, and a QHD IPS panel that has a 165Hz refresh rate but can go up to 360Hz when running at Full HD resolution.

Depending on respective variants, pre-order customers will be provided with Predator gears such as a Hybrid Backpack, Utility Backpack, Gaming Mousepad, and Galeo 350 Gaming Headset. They will also be able to redeem up to RM 200 worth of credit for Touch ‘n Go eWallet or Boost through Acer Malaysia’s dedicated rewards site.
