The company may be known for its food delivery service but foodpanda Malaysia has now expanded its delivery service to other products through pandamart. The announcement came just a week after its close rival, Grab launched the GrabSupermarket delivery service.

Even though the official launch only took place today, pandamart had gone live back in July.  According to the company, among products that can be obtained through pandamart are groceries, household essentials, beauty products, fresh produce, and over the counter medications.

At the moment, the service can be obtained in these areas:

Klang Valley: Bangsar, Setapak, Subang, Ampang / Cheras, Bukit Tinggi, Bukit Jalil, Petaling Jaya, KLCC, Puchong, Balakong, Kajang, Setia Alam, Kota Damansara, Shah Alam, Ara Damansara, Selayang, Sungai Buloh, Cyberjaya, Mont Kiara

Penang: Bayan Lepas, Georgetown/Jelutong, Perai/Bukit Mertajam,

Johor: Mount Austin, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Permas Jaya

If you are wondering about the main difference between the existing foodpanda shops delivery service and the new pandamart is products ordered through pandamart will be delivered directly from foodpanda’s own storage facilities. Hence, maybe this was the reason why foodpanda Malaysia boldly claimed that customers are able to receive products from pandamart in just 20 minutes.

This pandamart’s dark store is located in Georgetown, Penang. For those who aren’t aware of it, a dark store is an outlet or distribution centre that is built specifically for online shopping. – [Image provided by foodpanda Malaysia.]
Meanwhile, you would be able to see pandamart on its official website or mobile apps if the service is available in your location. But do note that there is a minimum order value of RM 5 and delivery charges range from RM 1 to RM 2, although the company is currently providing free delivery charges for the next four months.
