Back in September, vivo expanded its Y Series smartphones with the new Y20s through an exclusive release deal with Digi. However, earlier this week it has introduced another variant of Y20s which is not tied to any telcos.
While the Y20s that was released through Digi PhoneFreedom 365 carries 4GB of RAM, the new variant offers double the amount of memory at 8GB. Regardless of the memory configuration, their other components remained identical to each other.
The Y20s is equipped with a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460. It also comes with 128GB internal storage as standard alongside a triple rear camera system that has a 13MP f/2.2 main camera together with a 2MP bokeh camera and 2MP macro camera.
The phone also features an 8MP f/1.8 selfie camera as well as a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W FlashCharge technology which allows users to obtain up to 70% of the phone’s battery capacity in 69 minutes. Pricewise, the Y20s with 8GB RAM costs RM 100 more than its 4GB counterpart at RM 899 and can be purchased through vivo Malaysia’s E-Store or its official store on Lazada and Shopee.
