Microsoft Your Phone App On Windows Testing New Multi-App Streaming Ability

Microsoft has announced via its official blog that it is currently testing a new feature for the Your Phone application, which will allow it to stream multiple mobile apps on Windows. This feature is currently available to users who are participating in the Insider programme for the company’s Windows 10 operating system, and is only compatible with select Samsung Flagship devices.

With that said, the new feature has not been finalised and Microsoft noted that users may face certain issues when utilising it at this time. These include the lack of audio and mouse support, as well as several other limitations that are gradually being ironed out.

To begin the link process, do ensure that you have the latest Your Phone app installed on both your PC and Samsung device. Upon checking on these, simply head on to this link on your Samsung device. Then, tap on Galaxy Store and select Participate. Finally, select Update after logging in to your Samsung account.

At the moment, the update is only compatible with Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Z and S20 series. We’ll keep you posted when Microsoft has decided to release this new multiple app streaming ability to the public version of its Your Phone application on Windows and compatible mobile devices.
