The HONOR 9S will soon be making its way to our shores. The company made the announcement just shy of three months after the HONOR 9A made its way to our shores. The 9A itself came barely a month after the 9S.
It also occupies the same entry-level category as the other two devices. Looking at its specs, the HONOR 9S comes with an HD+ display, an octa-core chipset with four cores going up to 2GHz and another four at 1.5GHz. Worth pointing out is that the phone runs on HMS, so you’ll be making use of the Huawei AppGallery.
It has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and supports a microSD card of up to 256GB. The phone also comes with a 3020mAh battery, which HONOR claims can power through 21 hours of calls, or 17 hours of video playback. On the camera front, the HONOR 9S comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
HONOR Malaysia says the 9S will be priced at RM359. It will be available on 28 September, on the company’s own e-commerce site HiHONOR, its official stores on Lazada and Shopee, as well as physical stores. Every purchase will also come with a free HONOR Thermo Flask, while stocks last.
