During the virtual global unveiling event for the phone last month, ASUS has revealed that it will launch the new ROG Phone 3 in Malaysia this coming September. We have since learned about the exact Malaysian release date for the gaming phone, thanks to DirectD.
The date was first revealed by the well-known phone retailer on its Facebook page earlier today. According to the post, ROG Phone 3 will be made available for purchase starting from 9:30 pm on 5 September onwards.
We have reached out to ASUS Malaysia’s representative who has verified the information. Additionally, we were also informed that the two standard variants of ROG Phone 3 which comes with 12GB and 16GB RAM will be made available in Malaysia.
For those who prefer the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition which is priced slightly lower, fret not; it will be released in our market as well. As for their pricing, it will only be announced on 5 September itself through the live launch session on ASUS ROG Malaysia’s Facebook page.
