Here’s An Early Look At The Upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 3

When we first heard of the ASUS ROG Phone 3, it was part of the list of phones that will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. More recently, though, renders of the phone have appeared online, coming from China’s certification database TENAA.

Overall, it has a similar look as its predecessor, the ROG Phone 2. The ROG logo sits in the middle as it did before. The cameras are in a similar position as well, albeit with an extra sensor here on the ASUS ROG Phone 3. The power button and volume rocker look to be in the same position on the right too. And on the left, the secondary USB-C charging port looks to be making a return.

It’s much the same story in front. The display goes with a forehead for the front-facing camera rather than a notch. On the TENAA listing, the display itself is a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. And then there’s the speaker grilles for the stereo front-facing speakers. And on the inside, the ROG Phone 3 is powered by a 5800mAh battery.

For now, there’s no word on when ASUS will be officially unveiling the ROG Phone 3. That said, prior reports point towards it getting an official unveiling in Q3 of 2020.
