Samsung recently has announced that its Odyssey G7 curved QLED gaming monitor is being shipped throughout the world and expected to arrive at stores within this month. We have also received confirmation that it will be made available in Malaysia very soon.
Despite the confirmation, Samsung did not reveal the Malaysia pricing for Odyssey G7 at that time. Now, things have changed though as Samsung Malaysia’s website has already listed down the price tag for it which starts at RM 2399 for the 27-inch variant.
On another hand, the 32-inch model will be made available for RM 2899. Regardless of the size that you choose, both Odyssey G7 models offer HDR600 1000R curved VA screen with WQHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro technology, and compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync technology.
Surprisingly, Samsung Malaysia has also listed the equally new Odyssey G9 gaming monitor on its website. Just like the Odyssey G7, this model also carries 1000R curved VA screen with 240Hz refresh rate alongside support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro tech and compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync.
However, the HDR1000 display has a much wider screen alongside a native resolution of 5120 x 1440. Not to forget, the Odyssey G9 is also priced much higher at RM 6199.
Despite the revelation, there is no confirmed release date for the Odyssey G7 and G9 in our market at the time being according to Samsung Malaysia’s representatives in their response to our query. Nevertheless, just keep an eye for their arrival at your favourite PC hardware retailer very soon.
