As part of the the group of laptops brought in today, ASUS Malaysia also brought the ROG Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop. We first saw the laptop back in CES 2020 earlier this year, and now we know which configuration made its way to our shores.
To quickly recap, the ROG Zephyrus G15 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a Full HD display. On the inside, it runs an AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS CPU with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti Max-Q GPU. It also has 16GB of RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. As you’d expect, the keyboard comes with backlighting, but rather than the usual RGB rainbow, you only get white.
It looks like there’s only one configuration for the laptop that’s making its way here, unfortunately. If you wanted the 240Hz refresh rate display option, or an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, it looks like your prayers have not been answered. For what it’s worth, you have a RAM slot and two M.2 slots if you need more memory and storage.
At any rate, this particular configuration of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is priced at RM5299. ASUS Malaysia says you can get the laptop from today onwards.
