As it turns out, the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro will not be the only new Xiaomi phones in Malaysia on 11 May. The event which is set to take place online will also become the launch pad for the new Mi Note 10 Lite.
As per our previous report, the main differences between the Mi Note 10 Lite and its higher-end siblings are their cameras. The new model features a rear main camera with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor instead of the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor that was equipped on the Mi Note 10.
Similarly, the other rear cameras on the Mi Note 10 Lite are also different from what Xiaomi has set up for Mi Note 10. They come in the form of an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras as well as a 5MP depth sensor.
As opposed to the FCC’s document that we have seen before, Mi Note 10 Lite still features laser autofocus system. Meanwhile, the Mi Note 10 Lite is also equipped with a lower resolution 16MP sensor inside its selfie camera.
Other than that, the Mi Note 10 Lite still features 6.47-inch Full HD+ AMOLED processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G alongside up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Completing its general specifications is a 5260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charger.
Naturally, we have to wait until 11 May to find out about the Malaysian pricing of Mi Note 10 Lite. In case you need a comparison, the Mi Note 10 was launched for RM 2,099 while the slightly beefier Mi Note 10 Pro goes for RM 2,499. So, the Lite model should be priced at much lower.
