Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro Coming To Malaysia Mid-May; Alongside Mi Note 10 Lite and Standing Fan 1C

Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the Mi Note 10 Lite via a YouTube livestream. The announcement also featured the Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and the Mi Smart Standing Fan C1. The company has since announced that all of them will be making their way to Malaysia in mid-May, alongside the Mi Note 10 Lite.

To quickly go over the two phones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, and a 5020mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. On cameras, It has a 64MP main + 8MP wide-angle + 5MP macro + 2MP depth sensor quad-camera combo at the back. In front, it comes with a 16MP shooter. It comes with 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations, which are priced at US$269 (~RM1156) and US$299 (~RM1285), respectively.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, and a similar 5020mAh battery. Though this one only supports 18W fast charging. For its cameras, it runs a 48MP main + 8MP wide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor quad-camera combo. It also has a 13MP front-facing camera. This also comes in two configurations, with the 3GB + 64GB one being priced at US$199 (~RM855). The second configuration of 4GB + 128GB, on the other hand, has a US$249 (~RM1071) price tag.

And finally, there’s the Xiaomi Mi Smart Standing Fan 1C. Its standout features include its freely adjustable height, and the fact that you can control it using the Mi Home App, and is compatible with the Google Assistant. This is priced at EUR39.90 (~RM188).

As mentioned earlier, Xiaomi Malaysia has announced that they will all be available on our shores in mid-May. But for their local prices we’ll have to wait until they make their official appearances.
