ASUS has finally brought its TUF Gaming VG279QM monitor into Malaysia, several months after its initial January launch this year. The gaming monitor retails for RM1499 and can be found on the brand’s official LazMall page on Lazada, if you wish to purchase it online.
The VG279QM is a unique gaming monitor, in that it has a unique maximum refresh rate of 280Hz when overclocked and maximum non-overclocked refresh rate of 240Hz. Additionally, it’s also got a 1ms response time, but only in GTG (grey-to-grey).
Other features of the VG279QM include its 27-inch Full HD panel, plus its VESA certification of HDR400. On top of that, the monitor is also NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible and for good measurer, ASUS has also thrown in its ELMB-Sync anti-tearing technology inside as well.
Ports-wise, the VG279QM comes with a DisplayPort 1.2 port and two HDMI 2.0b port. Last but not least, its also comes with built-in RGB lighting that can be activated and customised through the brand’s Aura Sync RGB software.
