Ahead of its release on 20 March, Huawei has revealed the pricing of the new Mate Xs 5G for Malaysia. In case you not familiar with it, the Mate Xs is the second foldable from the company and is also the second Huawei 5G phone in our market.
According to its official website, the Mate Xs 5G can be obtained for RM 11,111 starting from 20 March onwards. The phone will be made available on its official online store as well as selected Huawei stores throughout Malaysia.
Customers who purchased the new Mate Xs 5G will received the Freebuds 3 true wireless earphones with active noise cancellation alongside their new foldable phone. Huawei will also provide an envelope-style leather cover to go with the phone.
Powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 990 processor, the Mate Xs 5G in Malaysia comes standard with 8GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Mate Xs 5G also includes an 8-inch OLED display which would turn into 6.6-inch display on the front part of the phone and another 6.38-inch display on its back when folded.
Other than that, the Mate Xs 5G also features a Leica-designed 40MP quad camera alongside 4500mAh battery and 55W SuperCharge support. For a closer look at the device, do check out our hands on experience right here and the Lowyat TV episode above.
