In conjunction with the recently announced Economic Stimulus Package, Celcom has announced a new initiative that allows users to enjoy cashback and savings. The telco states that the initiative commences on 28 February until 30 June 2020, and is applicable to both prepaid and postpaid customers.

Celcom Xpax prepaid users will enjoy 10% cashback when they purchase reloads and Internet Reloads valued RM10 above via the Celcom Life App. A Trade-In feature has been introduced to the telco’s MEGA postpaid plans as well, which allows users to trade their unused internet quota at the end of each billing cycle for cashback via Boost. Celcom adds that 10GB of returned internet quota is equivalent to RM5 cashback.

Postpaid customers are also offered a one-time RM50 credit rebate per account in the next billing cycle when they opt for the telco’s Auto Billing service. Additionally, those who’ve already opted for digital monthly bills will be able to save up to RM10 per month of additional charges for printed billing documents.

Celcom states that the cashback provided by this initiative allows users to utilise digital currency and purchase their everyday needs at digital or retail stores serviced by Boost eWallet. For more information regarding this, please visit the telco’s official website via this link.
