Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 10 and One UI 2 update for Galaxy Note 9 users in Malaysia. This comes a month after the update became available for the current generation flagships, the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.
The update comes with a firmware version of N960FXXU4DSL, which began rolling out in other regions awhile ago. The update size is listed as 1896.89MB, and can be downloaded over-the-air (OTA).
The most important new feature here is the new Dark mode. Of course, there are other less noticeable, but nevertheless appreciated improvements as well. These range from smoother animations to new gestures.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, then you should already have the update available. If not, then you may need to check for updates manually before it becomes available.
In the event that you still don’t see the update being available after that, then it may just be that Samsung Malaysia is pushing the update out in phases.
