Alongside the new Buds Air true wireless earbuds, realme Malaysia has also launched its first smartphone for 2020. It comes in the form of realme 5i which is powered by the popular mid-range chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE.
Comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB as standard, the new phone also features a 6.52-inch HD display in addition to an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera that is housed inside its teardrop-shaped display notch. As for its rear camera, there are plenty of camera options that users can experiment including 12MP f/1.8 main camera alongside 8MP f/2.25 wide-angle, 2MP portrait, and 2MP macros cameras.
With the help of its massive 5000mAh battery, realme 5i apparently has a standby time of up to 30 days. The phone also has a reverse charging feature which allows it to charge other devices when needed although it is equipped with micro USB port.
Priced at RM 599, the new realme 5i can be obtained in two different colours including Aqua Blue and Forest Green. It will be made available starting from 18 January at authorized realme retailers throughout Malaysia while for those who prefer to get their hands on realme 5i online can do so at the realme Official Store in Lazada from 28 January onwards.
