TM has unveiled a new prepaid mobile plan that is made especially for tourists. Called unifi Mobile Travel Pass, the new plan is pretty much in line with its role as the Strategic Telecommunication partner for the Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign which was done through a collaboration with Tourism Malaysia.
Essentially, the new Travel Pass would allow tourists to utilize unlimited data during their stay in Malaysia. They would also be allocated with preloaded airtime of RM 5 which they can used for calls and SMSes:
Since the plan is meant exclusively for tourist, they can only be picked up at the Tourist Information Centre in KLIA and klia2. From what we gather through its FAQ document [pdf], it seems that one might need to pre-purchase the plan before they arrive in Malaysia.
