Originally announced by Apple in early June, it took the company around six months to finally reveal the pricing of Mac Pro for Malaysia. Be warned though: it is not for those that faint-hearted because you might be shocked to see just the base price alone.
As per its name, the Mac Pro is designed for professionals out there that require a huge amount of firepower to get their task done. It can be configured to have up to Intel Xeon W 28-core 56-thread CPU, two AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics cards, 1.5TB DDR4-2933 ECC RAM, 8TB solid state drive, and 1280W power supply.
In terms of base price, the tower variant of the new Mac Pro is listed at RM 25,999. If you prefer to have your hands on the rack variant, it will set you at least RM 27,999. We would love to try and configure the specs to see how much a fully tricked-out Mac Pro would cost in Malaysia but the customization option on Apple Malaysia’s website is still being greyed out at the time this article is published.
Apple also has not revealed the release date of Mac Pro for our market just yet. With that, we will keep you posted once we hear any updates from the company regarding the release of Mac Pro in Malaysia.
