Xiaomi has announced that it will be launching the Mi Lite 9 in Malaysia very soon. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, the mid-range model is the fifth model in the series to be made available in our market after the Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE back in April as well as Mi 9T in June and Mi 9T Pro in August.
Equipped with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports HDR content, Mi 9 Lite also carries 6GB LPDDR4x-2133 RAM as a standard as well as UFS2.1-based storage of up to 128GB. Also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera is housed within its display notch.
On its back, the Mi 9 Lite offers a triple camera setup which includes a 48MP f/1.79 main camera that features an unnamed sensor from Sony alongside 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, and 2MP depth camera. Completing its general specifications is a 4030mAh battery supports 18W charger which has also been included in the box by Xiaomi.
In terms of availability, the Mi 9 Lite 64GB will be released exclusively through the official Mi Store on Lazada and Shopee for RM 1,199 while the 128GB model can be obtained for RM 1,299 through both online stores as well as on-ground Authorised Mi Stores throughout Malaysia. Both variants will be available starting from 1 November onwards.
