Starting from this week, consumers in Thailand already able to place pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy A80. They were also given the option if they want a Blackpink Special Edition Boxset alongside their phone which is also being offered in Singapore and Vietnam as well.
As it turns out, the boxset might be on its way to Malaysia too. According to a listing by E.S.H Electrical, each pre-order of Galaxy A80 will be accompanied by the Blackpink Special Edition Boxset as well as a Galaxy Fit 2019 fitness tracker.
At the time that this article is published, we are not aware of any other retailer aside from E.S.H Electrical that is offering such pre-order giftset for the phone. Not only that, both pre-order gifts will be given away for free.
In Thailand, the Galaxy A80 is priced at THB 21,990 (about RM 2,961) while it costs SGD 898 (RM 2,735) and VND 14,990,000 (RM 2,661) in Singapore and Vietnam respectively. Since the phone is said to be priced at RM 2,499, looks like Malaysian consumers are getting the better side of the deal.
