It has been quite a busy day for Huawei Malaysia as the company unveiled the new pricing for its P30 series and Nova 3i while teasing the spanking new Nova 5 series for our market. In addition to all that, Huawei Malaysia has also announced that it has now provided additional 1-year warranty for selected devices.
Despite the price changes, the P30, P30 Pro, and Nova 3i are still eligible for this extended warranty program as well. On top of that, the additional 1-year warranty is also available for Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X, nova 4, and nova 4e.
Consumers can also obtain the additional warranty for MediaPad M5 and MediaPad M5 Pro tablets. However, do note that the extended warranty offer for these devices is only applicable for devices that are purchased from today onwards until 30 September 2019. In order to activate it, all you got to do is redeem the extra 1-year of protection through the pre-installed HiCare app.
Meanwhile, if you have been planning to get your hands on Mate 20 Pro, now seems to be a perfect time as Huawei Malaysia is also offering the 6GB/128GB version of the phone for RM 2,599 instead of its usual RM 2,999 price tag.
Yes, the additional 1-year warranty program that we mentioned above is still applicable even if you purchase the Mate 20 Pro via this offer. That being said, the RM 400 discount only is valid until 8 July 2019 though, so don’t sleep on it.
