Huawei Y series of smartphones is about to welcome a new family member in the form of Y5 2019. Designed for the entry-level market, the phone is slightly unique than many of its counterparts due to the fact that it can be obtained with a faux leather finish for its back area.
However, this particular finish is limited to a colourway called Amber Brown. Alternatively, the Y5 2019 can also be obtained in metallic Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colourways.
Equipped with MediaTek Helio A22 MT6761 processor, the Y5 2019 also features a 5.71-inch HD display. In Malaysia, the phone also comes standard with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage together with the support for microSD card of up to 512GB.
In terms of photography, the Y5 2019 relies on a 13MP f/1.8 camera on its back alongside a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera while a 3020mAh battery completes the phone’s general specifications. Priced at RM 459, you can expect to see the new phone at authorized Huawei stores throughout the country as well as starting from 31 May onwards.
