HONOR Malaysia today has postponed the pre-order program for HONOR 20. The postponement has also affected the rollout date of the device in Malaysia.

HONOR would like to announce that the pre-order and sales launch for HONOR’s soon-to-be-launched HONOR 20 has been rescheduled. The pre-order of the latest smartphone initially scheduled on 24 May – 28 May and the sales launch on 29 May are postponed to later dates due to local logistic issues.
To avoid any disappointment, we are doing all that we can to sort out the dates as soon as possible in order to allow a seamless transaction process for Malaysians in owning the HONOR 20.
We thank you for your kind understanding and will keep you updated on this matter.
Despite the delay, the HONOR 20 launch event in Malaysia on 23 May will proceed as planned.

By now, you might have heard that HONOR will be launching the new HONOR 20 series in London on 21 May. However, consumers in Malaysia don’t really have to wait long for the new phone series to arrive in our market as the HONOR 20 series local launch will take place on 23 May according to a press invite that HONOR has sent today.
Immediately after that, HONOR Malaysia will then begin to accept pre-orders for HONOR 20 series starting from 24 May until 28 May. This can be done through HONOR Experience Store and selected senQ Digital Station outlets nationwide.
Customers that are early enough to pre-order their HONOR 20 device will receive the HONOR SoundStone portable Bluetooth speaker, and HONOR Band 4 fitness tracker alongside an HONOR Backpack. Since the HONOR 20 series might come in several different variants, it is not known at the moment which variant that would be eligible for these pre-order gifts though.
To pre-order, customers also have to place a deposit although HONOR Malaysia has yet to reveal the actual amount. We reckoned that more details regarding the pre-order will be revealed at the launch event on 23 May, so stay tuned.
