Last week, CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau said that there will be a OnePlus 7 Pro, and that it will have a “significant display upgrade”. A new leak now showcases the phone with the display in question, as obtained by WinFuture.
But beyond the display, there’s nothing much else that’s been shown. The leaks essentially displays the OnePlus 7 Pro in two colours, black and blue. Beyond that, the front and back of it looks a lot like the standard OnePlus 7 that’s been leaked before.
To quickly recap, Lau previously said that OnePlus spent three times more on the OnePlus 7 Pro’s display than any others. He also said that it will “redefine fast and smooth,” but did not share any specifics.
With all that said, we’ll likely find out for sure come 14 May 2019. OnePlus is scheduled to officially announce the OnePlus 7, and likely the OnePlus 7 Pro, on that day.
