The arrival of Xiaomi Mi 9 SE into Malaysia has been anticipated for quite some time and Xiaomi today has finally revealed more details regarding it the launch live stream session tonight. For starters, let’s take a quick look at its general specifications.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712, the phone is equipped with 5.97-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that Xiaomi has sourced from Samsung. Built with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the phone’s display and back area are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Mi 9 SE also features the same rear camera setup as per the higher-end Mi 9 which include 48MP wide-angle, 8MP telephoto, and 13MP ultra wide-angle cameras. It also carries a 20MP selfie camera within the teardrop-shaped display notch.
The phone is also equipped with a 3070mAh battery and supports USB-PD fast charging standard although Mi 9 SE does not come with wireless charging feature tbough. Inside the box, the phone is accompanied by an 18W charger and a soft case by default.
Comes standard with 6GB RAM, the Mi 9 SE with 64GB internal storage goes for RM 1,299 while the model with 128GB is priced at RM 1,499. The phone will be available through all Authorized Mi Store and retailers nationwide as well as Xiaomi Malaysia’s official Lazada and Shopee stores.
