Since Apple launched the second generation AirPods earlier this week, the first generation model is now no longer available on the company’s respective country websites including Malaysia. That doesn’t mean the product has totally disappeared from the market though as you can still obtain the wireless headphones through Apple resellers.
However, the actual price for the first generation AirPods currently varies from one retailer to another. For example, two renowned Apple Premium Resellers, Switch and Machines are offering them for RM 599 but another well-known Apple dealer, Mac City is still selling the product at RM 649.
On another hand, Lazada which itself is an official Apple authorized reseller did offer the first generation AirPods for less than its current price tag but at RM 628, the discount was rather minuscule. You have to wait until its birthday sale on 27 March if you want to purchase the first generation AirPods for RM 549.
With that, we suppose more retailers will be offering the first generation AirPods at discounter price very soon. So, happy hunting.
