Fujifilm Malaysia has just launched a new member of the X-series family of mirrorless cameras in Malaysia. The Fujifilm X-T30 features an APS-C sensor in a retro-looking body, with features taken from higher-end models.

Launched globally just over a month ago, the X-T30 comes with a 4th-generation 26.1MP X-Trans sensor paired with the X-Processor image processor. It shares the same body design as the previous X-T20 as well as the weight at only 383 grams (minus the lens, of course).

Other outstanding features include 4K/30fps video recording, 10-bit 4:2:2 output via HDMI and 8-bit 4:2:0 for internal recording which is perfect for budding videographers. There is also 120fps recording at 1080p for slow-motion video.

Fujifilm also added an AF joystick to replace the D-Pad, USB 3.1 Type-C and Bluetooth for data. The tilt 3-inch touch screen will help in composing shots.

The recommended retail price for the X-T30 is RM 3,888 for the body only, and RM 5,488 for the kit with the 18-55mm F2.8-4 lens. Two colours will be available intially – Black and Silver. A third option, Charcoal Silver, will be available by the third quarter of 2019.

Fujifilm Malaysia is currently running an early-bird promotion until 20 March, where early bird orders can receive discounts for selected lenses to be paired with the X-T30. The rebate is up to RM1,200 and is applicable for these following lenses: XF23mm F2, XF35mm F2, and the XF50mm F2.

On top of the rebate, buyers will also receive free gifts valued at RM919 that includes a second battery, 32GB SD Card and leather accessories. For more details or to grab a unit, head on to Fujifilm’s pre-order website.
