Originally shown to the world around a year ago before making its way to Malaysia last July, it goes without saying that the ASUS ZenFone 5z is an aging phone. Then again, since it is running previous generation flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, the phone certainly still has some life to it.
While it was launched with a price tag of RM2299 for the 8GB variant, you can now get it for much lower at RM1799 on its official store at Lazada. Not only that, the 6GB model is also now available for RM1599. That said, there’s no indication as to when this discount will come to an end.
But if you don’t want to place your order and then wait for the phone to be delivered, then you’re in luck. ASUS happens to be organizing its ROG X Free Fire “All Stars Brawl” Tournament and roadshow this weekend. You can get the ZenFone 5z at the same price as you would from the official store on Lazada.
If you’re interested, then head to the Central Avenue of LG2, Sunway Pyramid. The roadshow begins tomorrow 16 February, while the actual tourney starts on Sunday, 17 February.
