ASUS ROG Strix Laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX On Their Way To Malaysia: Priced from RM 6499 Onwards

ASUS today has officially revealed the details regarding the first group of new ROG gaming laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics for Malaysia. In terms of release date, gamers can expect to see them in our market at the end of this month which is in line with NVIDIA’s announcement a few weeks ago.

For starters, ASUS will be releasing two models into Malaysia which come in the form of ROG Strix SCAR II and ROG Strix Hero II with four different variants to choose from. Depending on respective models, gamers are able to obtain them with either 15 or 17-inch display and regardless of the sizes, all of them are 144Hz panels.

At the same time, these ROG Strix gaming notebooks also come standard with Intel Core i7-8750H processor, 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid state drive. With the exception of the 15-inch ROG Strix Hero II GL504GV which is equipped with 8GB of DDR-2666 RAM, the rest offer 16GB DDR-2666 RAM as a standard feature as well.

In terms of pricing, here they are:

RM 6499: ROG Strix Hero II GL504GV with a 15.6-inch display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics

RM 6999: ROG Strix SCAR II GL704 with a 17.3-inch display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics

RM 8999: ROG Strix SCAR II GL504GW with a 15.6-inch display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics

RM 9299: ROG Strix SCAR II GL704 with a 17.3-inch display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics

Do note the GeForce RTX graphics on the laptops above are the non Max-Q variant. These new ASUS ROG Strix gaming laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics will be available from retailers starting from 29 January onwards at 1000PM.
