After it was being rumored for quite some time, Samsung has now officially acknowledged the existence of its upcoming phone series called Galaxy M by launching a mini-site for it. However, it looks like the Galaxy M series is not meant for a wide global release, at least for the time being.

As revealed by Samsung India, the Galaxy M series will be receiving its official launch on 28 January. At the same time, the series will also be made exclusive to Amazon India who has also opened its own mini-site for the Galaxy M series.

While the exact specifications of Galaxy M series device have not yet been revealed, the product images for Galaxy M series on these mini-sites showed that the product it is equipped with the Infinity V display which comes with a teardrop-shaped notch. In terms of physical design, the Galaxy M series seems to follow the same design language as per Galaxy A9 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018).

Other than that, the Galaxy M device is also shown to feature a dual rear camera setup that is inclusive of an ultra-wide camera. The mini-sites have also teased the battery size of the phone which will be quite large and supports an unknown fast charging tech that is said to be three times faster than conventional charging.

All in all, there are still many aspects of the Galaxy M series are not yet known at the moment. At the very least, consumers now able to see how the phone (or phones) looks like but of course, we are also wondering whether the series will make its way into Malaysia or otherwise.
