Three months after the device made its official debut, Microsoft is finally going to release the Surface Laptop 2 in Malaysia. In fact, consumers are actually able to pre-order the device starting from today onwards.
For our market, the Surface Laptop 2 is only available with 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it only comes in Platinum colorway which means those who are hoping to obtain it in other colors including the new Black option (shown below) are out of luck.
The only part of the Surface Laptop 2 that consumers in Malaysia can choose is to have it with 128GB or 256GB solid state drive. In terms of price, the 128GB variant goes for RM 4829 while the 256GB model is listed at RM 6199.
For those who want to utilize the device with a stylus, they can also choose to purchase the Surface Pen separately for RM 399. The Surface Laptop 2 will be available as a general release starting from 15 January 2019.
