According to the definition, Boxing Day takes place after Christmas Day and in certain markets such as the UK, it has become one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Not in Malaysia though but just like NVIDIA, that is not stopping Lenovo for having Boxing Day promo at its official online store for Malaysia.
For example, Lenovo Legion gaming notebooks are now being offered with 15% discounts. Here is how Lenovo presented the base savings for the Legion gaming notebooks that customers can obtained from the Boxing Day promo on its website:
In general, customers can save up to more than RM 1000 depending in the configurations that they choose for their Legion gaming notebooks:
Given the fact all the Legion notebooks that are part of the promo are still current generation products with 8th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series graphics, this could be quite a deal for some gamers out there.
However, do note that the Legion Y530 is the only model in the group that can be obtained with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics while the rest are limited to GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti. This could be a concern to some gamers that prefer to have a more capable GPU on their laptop.
