While Acer is known to come out with bombastic products from time to time such as the Predator 21X Curved Gaming Laptop but Predator Thronos which was revealed at IFA 2018 pushed the limit even further. It might be called a “gaming chair” but as what we pointed, again and again, this is certainly not your normal chair.
In general, what you are looking at here is an all-encompassing gaming cockpit complete with a motorized overarm that includes a mounting that can fit up to three 27-inch gaming monitors. Adjustable via a remote control on its left handle, Thronos’ keyboard & mouse area, as well as footrest and seat recliner, are all motorized too.
For Malaysia, the Thronos comes standard with three Predator XB271HU QHD monitors that are equipped with 165Hz OC IPS panel and support for NVIDIA G-Sync tech. Customers will also receive a Predator Orion 900 desktop gaming PC with dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card as well as Predator Cestus 500 gaming mouse, Predator Flare gaming mouse, and Predator Galea 300 gaming headset.
Acer has also adapted a TT eSports Predator gaming chair into the Thronos for Malaysia. Only two units of this majestic gaming cockpit will be made available in our market for RM 56,999 but visitors to The Kuala Lumpur Major Dota 2 tournament this weekend at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil are able to experience it themselves.
